frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Products and fit
Are your products CE certified?
Yes, all our protective products meet the relevant European safety standards and are CE-approved . Specific certifications (such as EN 1621-2 for back protectors or EN 13688 for protective clothing) are listed on the product pages.
Why do I need snowboard protection?
Snowboarding involves risks, whether you are a beginner or experienced. Protection reduces the chance of injuries from falls, such as bruises, fractures or scrapes. It also gives you more confidence to try new tricks or go faster, knowing that you are well protected.
What types of protection are essential for snowboarding?
The most essential protection consists of a helmet and wrist guards. Especially for beginners, impact shorts (crash pants) for your hips and tailbone are indispensable.
In addition, back protection is highly recommended, especially if you ride a lot in the park or go off-piste. For extra safety, you can also think of elbow and knee pads.
How do I choose the right size protection?
The right size is crucial for optimal protection and comfort. Measure yourself according to the size charts that you can find on each product page. Protection should fit snugly, but not pinch or restrict your freedom of movement. If in doubt, contact us for personal advice.
Does protection fit under my snowboard jacket and pants?
Yes, all models are ultra-thin and designed for a close fit under a snowboard jacket or pants.
Are your protectors also suitable for skiing and mountain biking?
Certainly – the protection meets the same standard and works equally well for skiers and mountain bikers.
