D3O Zero RF material

D3O® Zero™ is the first recycled-grade D3O protective material. D3O® Zero™ is made by recycling excess material from D3O factories.

Like the original D3O materials, D3O® Zero™ can be incorporated into a variety of products to provide maximum protection while working toward a zero waste program.

D3O® Recycled Foams is comprised of two grades of D3O® Zero™ materials and is the latest material innovation from the impact protection experts at D3O. D3O® Zero™ is designed to protect what matters while innovating the manufacturing process to reduce waste. This new recycled protection solution is suitable for a range of applications across a variety of action sports.

D3O® Zero™ is available in four thicknesses and two densities and can be easily die cut or thermoformed, making it easy to integrate into Demon’s product range.

To make D3O® Zero™, excess D3O® material from D3O factories is ground up and mixed with virgin foam, and the mixture is formed into large cylindrical bales of D3O® Zero™. D3O then cuts sheets into various thicknesses from 2 to 10 mm. The material can then be die cut or thermoformed for various protective applications.
